Support Fired Starbucks Union Leaders in Memphis

Donation protected
Starbucks corporate is currently firing virtually our entire union leadership in Memphis at the Poplar & Highland store.

We were inspired to unionize by the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and we went public with our campaign on MLK day to carry on Memphis workers’ tradition of fighting union-busting and seeking social justice.

In their most blatant act of union-busting yet, Starbucks is retaliating against us on the union organizing committee at the Poplar & Highland store after we spoke to the media about our campaign.

By donating to this fund, you will be supporting those of us who have been fired in retaliation for our organizing efforts.

Workers should not be afraid to speak to the media, to organize our stores, or to fight for our right to have a union -- the same right Dr. King was killed while fighting for in our city.

If Starbucks thought this would silence us -- they are very much mistaken. Our movement is only getting stronger, and we know that we will win our jobs back, our union, and our fundamental human and civil right to organize.
