Support Fired Up Staff During Recovery

Fired Up! Creative Lounge is a Paint Your Own Pottery studio located in Asheville and Hendersonville, North Carolina. We have been WNC's place to go to get creative since 1994!

We were very lucky not to have received any damage to our buildings at either studio. Unfortunately, like much of Asheville, we are without water and are not able to be open for the foreseeable future. While we are working to re-open, our employees will be without reliable income while they still need to purchase food/water/supplies, plus pay rent and monthly payments that have not been suspended. Some of our employees have even begun spending their savings to purchase supplies for others in need. We are happy to report that they are all safe, and we have been able to send their last paychecks to them.

What we are looking at now is a loss of income for an indeterminate amount of time for the entire Fired Up staff at both studios. We have to admit that we are the type of people to try and handle everything ourselves. However, during this time as we navigate reopening after the disaster that was Helene, wait on water/electricity/repairs at our homes, and rebuild our communities, we are asking for help if you are able to give it. We also ask that you donate to disaster relief first. We are all safe and we will work through this, but many people in our community need food, water, and life-saving supplies.

Any donations will be split among our employees at both studios to help support them while they recover from Helene, and until we are able to re-open and welcome them back.
