Keep Flamboyán Thriving in 2025!

2024 was an historic year. In January, we were doing auditions and rehearsals in a Puerto Rican-run brewery in Denver, and now we have our own physical theatre space in Lakewood, fifteen minutes from downtown Denver!

Our 70 seat black box theatre and art gallery is made possible by our collaboration with The Three Leaches Theater!

In 2024, we made two successful podcasts, produced our show about Julia de Burgos, started a new Halloween tradition with El Cuco Fest, and established a following amongst the local Latino community. We received press every major outlet in the Denver Metro area.

And we are just getting started...

In 2025 we will be producing two new plays by Boricua writers, one a musical about La Lupe, and the other a horror comedy about sisters being haunted by their mother. We will also be doing a special night of Puerto Rican poetry from the diaspora and the island, a new play salon for Boricua writers, and next Fall we will bring the cult classic The Motherfucker With The Hat to the stage!
