Floki's Army, from book to movie. Help expose animal cruelty
Donation protected
Hello,
I am Jason Purcell. I wrote the Book "Floki's Army'. It is the story of a male Shih Tzu that my wife and I adopted. We came across his picture online while trying to help another person find a dog to adopt. After seeing his picture and hearing his story we knew that we had to give him a home. We knew that no one else was going to take him and that he needed to feel love before leaving this world. As we learned more of his physical condition we knew that this did not occur in someone's home. That is when we began looking into his past and learning about Puppy Mills. I wrote the book to educate people about the cruel treatment of animals in this country. I have always thought that if his story (Floki's) could be told in a movie, it would reach more people and their emotions may produce some action and change. We need to do better.
I am asking for help with the cost of having a pitch or proposal written by a professional who can submit the story to the right people. I found a person who does this for a living and has had success with movie producers. The approximate costs for her service is $3000. there will be additional costs along the way that my wife and I will try to cover. Maybe you can be a part of Floki's Army and finally win the battle against the inhumane treatment of companion animals. Thank you!
