Support Flood-Affected Families in Brazil

My name is Natalia Anderle. I am from Encantado in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and was honored to serve as Miss Brazil Universe. Throughout my career as a model and entrepreneur, I have worked with various charities both here and abroad.

While visiting my family in my hometown, the southern area of Brazil where our community is located experienced dramatic and devastating flooding. The flooding and landslides took many lives, destroyed homes, killed many of the livestock, washed away bridges and roads, and destroyed many of the businesses that employ those that remain. The damage was experienced all over the Rio Grande do Sul state. My friends, family, and business associates from all over the world saw the news of the flooding and expressed a desire to help or donate. As a result, I started this Go Fund Me page to try to help the community. I set the goal of raising $10,000; and I’m happy to see that with the help of many donors, we have exceeded that goal.

We are currently organizing a list of families who lost their homes and businesses in our community. We are talking to the families to determine their urgent and immediate needs. One hundred percent of the donations will be used to buy food, medications, home appliances, beds, clothing, and basic supplies. We will keep receipts for all purchases and a signed receipt from each person that receives the donations. There will be a journal entry of the purchase, the date of the delivery of the good or item, the name/address/phone number of each done that receives the donation, and the name of each person that delivered the item. My family and I look forward to getting these items purchased this week and delivered to the families in the coming days.
