Support Food for Thought: 100-Mile Challenge
Tax deductible
Hi, I’m Daniel Frenchmore, and every spring for the past 3 years, I have chosen to endure a running challenge in order to raise awareness and funds for local organizations that help support our community.
This year, I have chosen to support Food for Thought here in Denver! This amazing group packs weekend meals for kids who otherwise would go hungry on weekends. No child should have to worry about their next meal. Food for Thought has been operating for 13 years now, all while operating with zero overhead. All donations go directly to helping children in need!
To raise funds, I will be undertaking the challenge of making it from Fort Collins to Denver on foot via the Front Range (aiming for 100 miles). I will be starting Wednesday afternoon March 19th at City Park Ft Collins and ending Thursday evening March 20th at Wash Park Denver. I’ll pass through Loveland, Boulder, and Golden along my route.
Ways to get involved:
- Donate directly: lump sum or think about it in terms per mile. 10 cents per mile = $10, $1 per mile = $100.
Any amount is fantastic and helps a great cause!
- You can also volunteer your time helping pack these meals every Friday morning! Link below.
I’ll be at the MSU location again Friday morning post-run!
Thank you!!!!!
