Support Sudanese Families

Hi guys, Sai again! Hajer and her family need some support as they endure the war in Sudan and the effects of it. Her statement is below:
My name is Hajer Abdalla and I am the youngest daughter in our family of 9. My older brother and my father have been stuck in Omdurman, Khartoum since the war started in April 2023, where the situation has become unbearable. I currently am the sole provider for our family, including my sibling’s children due to the fact that this war has made it difficult for most of my family members to find work. My brother in Khartoum has been repeatedly targeted by members of the Rapid Support Forces resulting in him getting shot in the leg and robbed by them on his way to the marketplace to make enough to feed himself and our father. His 4 children, aged between 7 and 1, and wife have managed to escape to Egypt but are struggling financially as he has been unable to provide for them, leaving me responsible for their expenses and rent. Additionally, after having evacuated two of my sisters and their children along with my mother to East Sudan last year August, I have been the sole provider for rent and food and other necessities. I also am taking care of my sister and her children in North Kordofan so as you can imagine the little that I earn is spread extremely thinly. I plan to continue my studies in Egypt but unfortunately my salary will not be able to cover the expenses of the three households I am supporting along with paying for my studies. It is my hope that after completing my studies I can get a better job or attempt to bring my family to Egypt so that we can finally live under some measure of safety. While I have been managing to support these four households for the past year and a half, with the rising cost of living and increasing rent it has become extremely difficult for me to handle alone. As such, any financial support I can receive in order to care for my family will be much appreciated. The money will go towards paying for my brother’s children to attend school in Egypt, to supporting my father and my brother left behind in Khartoum, and to pay for rent and utilities for my mother, sisters, and their children in East Sudan and in North Kordofan.
Any little bit helps. Thank you, I am forever grateful.
