SUPPORT FOR 900 DEGREEZ AFTER CATASTROPHIC FLOODING!

Hello y’all, we are the Soifer family. Some of you may know us as Drew, Anne, and Cooper, the 900 Degreez Pizza Food Truck family! We were located in Asheville, NC. We opened for business on March 28th, 2014, in Orlando, Florida. We worked in the Orlando community for several years until our son Cooper was born. During the pandemic in March of 2021, we relocated to Asheville, North Carolina, in hopes of finding a suitable place to raise our son. We envisioned raising our family in a smaller and more intimate setting.

As most of you may know, Asheville has been hit with devastating and catastrophic flooding due to back-to-back rainstorms and Hurricane Helene. The infrastructure of Asheville consists primarily of small businesses and hardworking individuals. Our food truck was stationed at the New Origin Brewing Company on the Swannanoa River. We prepared in advance to secure safer ground for our food truck. Little did we know that the storms and Hurricane Helene would drop biblical amounts of rainfall. Ultimately, our food truck, 900 Degreez, succumbed to the floodwaters as well as our apartment complex. As hard as it may be to say this, we are now unemployed and homeless. 900 Degreez was our full-time business and our sole source of income.

Our foothold in the Asheville community was serving pizzas to the locals and tourists alike! With your generosity, this GoFundMe will allow us to rebuild 900 Degreez and help pay for living expenses during this transition.

In closure, as we sit here typing our story, I happened to look at a quote on the wall at the hotel we are staying at, and there is a quote by J. Willard Marriott, “It's the little things that make the big things possible.” Thank you to all that have supported us through the growth of our business.
