Support for a Brave Mother and Her Children

Hello all, to everyone who may or may not know, on November 8th, my friend was shot by her ex and father of her children two times in her abdomen as she tried to get away from him. He was captured and taken into custody, but it has only been the start of a long, hard journey for her and her recovery.

Since she works for Amazon Flex (and is considered self-employed and unable to apply for unemployment) and can barely sit, stand, or walk without assistance and is unable to work, I am creating this GoFundMe to raise money for her bills that are now piling up. She was also removed from the house she was residing in after the shooting due to the fact the landlord was her abusive ex’s sister, who showed no empathy or compassion for what her brother did to her. She is now living with her two kids in a friend's room until she can get back on her feet, but I want to create this GoFundMe to help pay for her expenses and help her pay for a place to live with her two children.
