Support for a Family in Their Time of Loss

Hi everyone,

My name is Isabel, and along with my partner Pedro, we’ve had the privilege of being part of the Big Brother Big Sister program, where we’ve had the opportunity to mentor and build a meaningful relationship with Josiah. Recently, Josiah and his family experienced an unimaginable loss—his older brother, Melvin, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep.

Melvin’s sudden passing has left the family heartbroken and overwhelmed, not only emotionally but also financially. As they navigate this incredibly difficult time, we want to come together as a community to support them in any way we can.

We’ve started a GoFundMe campaign to help ease the burden of funeral expenses and provide the family with the space to grieve without the added stress of financial strain.
