Support for a Mother and Her Children After a Tragedy

On February 22nd, my life and that of my children changed forever. My husband, François-Tanguy Olivon, tragically passed away in an accident, leaving us alone to face an indescribable pain and many challenges ahead.

We were a close-knit family, full of love and dreams. François-Tanguy was an exceptional father and husband, a kindhearted man who always put others before himself. Now, Rose (4 years old), Ethan (8 years old), and I must find a way forward without him, but the reality is devastating.

We had a lifelong dream: to open our own French restaurant "Chez Fanfan ", at 510 Broome Street 10013, Soho, New York. We were set to move at the end of March to begin this new adventure. Everything was ready—the location, the preparations—but now, this dream will never come true. Facing this journey alone with two young children in a foreign country is simply impossible.

To add to this immense sorrow, I am also facing an incredibly unfair situation. We had paid $166,000 as a security deposit for the restaurant—our entire life savings. Now, my landlord in New York, completely indifferent to my tragedy, refuses to return this money, leaving me with no resources while I struggle to secure a future for my children.

We are now in France, but I have to start from scratch—without my husband, without our dream, and with two young children depending on me.

With a heavy heart, I am launching this fundraiser. The funds raised will help me:

• Cover the costs related to François-Tanguy passing

• Handle daily expenses as we try to rebuild our lives
