Support for a Mother Who Lost Her Daughter to Leukemia

Dear Friends and Community,

We are heartbroken to share that Yoly recently lost her beloved daughter, Karla, to leukemia. Karla fought bravely against this devastating illness, but despite all efforts, she passed away on 5/8/24.

Karla was a bright and beautiful soul who brought joy to everyone she met. She was 19 years old and had dreams of going to school and living the American dream. Her loss leaves a void that can never be filled, and Yoly is now facing unimaginable grief and financial burdens.

During this incredibly difficult time, we want to support Yoly as much as we can. The costs associated with medical bills, funeral arrangements, and taking time off work to grieve are overwhelming. Our goal is to raise $5,000 to help alleviate some of these financial pressures and allow Yoly to focus on healing and remembering her precious daughter.
