We are deeply saddened to share the news of Aaron’s passing. After a long and difficult battle with health issues, Aaron left us unexpectedly, leaving behind his cherished daughter, Rowan. As many of you know, for the last 8-9 years, Aaron has been unable to work due to his medical condition. Additionally, he had amassed many medical bills that now fall solely on Stephanie and Rowan. He died with no life insurance and his family is now facing significant financial challenges.

About Aaron:

Aaron was a loving father and a dedicated family man. Several years ago, after a routine Doctor’s visit, Aaron’s life changed when he was diagnosed with “Interstitial lung disease.” leading to a series of tests, hospital visits, and medical challenges. Fortunately, 7 years ago, he was able to receive an amazing life-extending lung transplant, which allowed him extra time with his beloved family. Despite facing his own health struggles, he always prioritized his daughter’s happiness and well-being. Medical issues left Aaron unable to work which added enormous financial stress to his and his family’s life. Sadly, he was told he was not a candidate for a second transplant, and on 03 July 2024, his body rejected his new lungs, and he passed away surrounded by those he loved.

The Challenge:

Although Aaron and his wife Stephanie had been separated for the past 11 months, she was his rock, his safe space, and the only person Aaron wanted to help handle his last moments. She courageously stepped in to handle all of his end of life requests. She is now responsible for the burial costs and to provide for their 9 year-old daughter. The unexpected loss has placed an enormous financial burden on Stepanie who is now navigating this challenging time while ensuring Rowan’s future remains bright.
