Support for Adam and Sarah

Anyone that knows Sarah and Adam would know how much they have wanted to become parents. Unfortunately, after Adam battled cancer twice, they were told their only option was to proceed with a very limited number of cycles of IVF. After spending in excess of $15,000 on fertility treatments, medications and specialist appointments, in April they were thrilled be told the news that they were pregnant with their first child. Over the coming months, they eagerly awaited the arrival of their baby. On January 4th, during the first week of Sarah’s maternity leave, they suffered a completely unexpected and unexplained stillbirth at 37 weeks. After being told the worst news of their life, and subsequently having to endure over twenty hours of labour, their beautiful little girl, Ruby, entered the world on January 5th.

Sarah and Adam, along with their family and friends, are absolutely devastated and heartbroken over the loss of Ruby. While nothing can ease the grief they are experiencing, their families would like to help by raising money to assist with funeral costs and future IVF treatment.
