Support for Adams Family After Fire
Donation protected
05/15/23 update from the family:
We've witnessed firsthand the power of our tiny but mighty community. Our families have rallied hard for us. Our friends have worked tirelessly to cover immediate needs.
We checked out of the hotel this morning and we're on to our next temporary spot until a more solid plan is in place. The blessing is that we have options. That is overwhelming and yet feels good. Thank you.
Everything we own now fits on a hotel luggage cart and while that's an emotional thought, we've never felt so proud of the things that belong to us. Justin rolled that cart out this morning with a look of gratitude and humbleness.
Brody graduates from Pre-K this morning. We left our hotel with hearts so full and proud to be celebrating his graduation as a family considering what could have been the day we lost our home to the fire. Things can be replaced. Thank you Lord for your protection and keeping our family safe.
We send the most sincere thank you for making our first few days as a displaced family seem anything but that.
~Justin and Kimmee
Hi, my name is Kelsey Dotson and I am fundraising for my brother/sister-in-law, Justin and Kimmee Adams, and my niece and nephew, Evy (8) and Brody (5). Unfortunately, their house caught fire yesterday (5/13/24), and it was a total loss. So many people have already been generous in donating clothes and shoes in the sizes they need as well as some toys for the kids, and they are so grateful!! The best way to meet their needs now is through monetary contributions for miscellaneous items and food. This allows them to go grab what they need as they think of it and get settled into their new normal for the time being. If you aren’t able to donate, we understand and just ask for you to cover them in prayer. Thank you in advance!
