Support for Alfie and his family.

Hello,

We, as Lucy's friends, have started this page for anyone who wants help them through what their family are going through at the moment. Last week they found out that their eldest son, Alfie, has cancer, more specifically Lymphoma. He is currently in the high dependency unit in Alder Hey awaiting surgery to determine the extent and type of cancer. Then a treatment plan will be put in place. Lucy and Gav are taking turns in travelling back and forth to Liverpool so that someone is with Alfie at all times and also one of them is at home for their younger children Harry and Georgia.

Anyone who knows Lucy and Gav know they are very private and they and their families are still trying to come to terms with all that has happened.

If anyone would like to donate to help them at this time please do so but only if you can. The money will go towards their travel expenses and help with the loss of earnings while they care for Alfie.
