Support for Alissa and Lila

John Andrews, doting husband of Alissa and incredible father to Lila passed away unexpectedly on Valentine's Day. John was a hard worker and an entrepreneur; he had recently bought a shoe store with multiple loctions in Manhattan, which served as the main income source for his family. In addition to the heartshattering, emotional ramifications caused by John's passing, there are many financial implications; Alissa now has to pay for funeral services, raise a child on her own and pay expensive rent in New York City. Like many of us not expecting to leave the world so soon, John did not have a life insurance policy to help keep his family sustained in the event of his death. Please help us support Alissa and Lila as they navigate this heartbreaking and painful journey of life as a two-some. All of your contributions will be used to help them secure affordable housing, support Alissa while she is out of work grieving and sorting out their family estate, and childcare for Lila, which Alissa will so surely need given her family lives out of state.
