Support for Amanda Gill

In Jan. of 2023, Amanda had constant pain in her arm. They figured it was due to the continual care and holding of her daughter in that particular arm for the last 4 years. But, the pain was not responding to usual treatments. She had many tests run and it was an actual break in the humerus bone, caused by cancer and confirmed by an orthopedic oncologist. With the extreme shock of this confirmation & its ripple effects emotionally, mentally, and physically…life has since been a whirlwind for Amanda and her family.

Amanda later found out that not only was the cancer in that arm, it had spread there from the breast tissue. It was also discovered in the left hip and 2 tumors pressing on the spinal cord.

The oncologist recommended Amanda have radiation and several pharmaceuticals. Amanda agreed to the 10 rounds of radiation on the spine and hip, which were completed in mid-April. She decided the many pharmaceutical drugs were not her best option, as a large side effect would send her body into premature & full-blown menopause. She has since researched other options.

Amanda and her husband Scott were already aware of a treatment center, called Hope for Cancer, as they know of 5 people that have been treated at this center, and those 5 are now disease free! Amanda’s desire is not only to treat the cancer but, these treatments offered resonated so deeply with Amanda’s desire to treat her body as one whole, to give it the deep support it needs to heal and function optimally, even when the cancer is gone. Also, Amanda feels these treatments would allow her to have a more comfortable quality of life while going through them.

So you can be aware of what you are specifically supporting for Amanda, here is some information about Hope for Cancer. They have 7 principles of cancer whole-body therapy. They include holistic non-toxic cancer therapy, immunomodulation, full-spectrum nutrition, detoxification, oxygenation, restoring the microbiome, and emotional/spiritual healing.

Hope for Cancer does not accept insurance. Attending this center will come with a cost of $51,000.

Let me share with you what is included in this amount for Amanda during this whole process:

-3 weeks of treatments at the center in Cancun

-transportation (from airport to hotel, hotel to the treatment center, hotel back to the airport)

-5 star hotel accommodations

-all food/snacks/beverages

-one whole year of follow-up appointments (this includes 2 trips back to the center for in-person check-ups)

-3 months' worth of supplements

-a few other treatments for an entire year

-accommodations for food/snacks/beverages for a travel/emotional support companion

Amanda & Scott humbly ask that if you can donate, in any amount, please do. They would be so grateful & their lives forever changed. Their goal is higher than the cost of treatment because they have 3 children, one of whom is special needs. Serena would need full-time care while Amanda is away for treatments. Lastly, we do ask for prayer for Amanda. She prefers to not be viewed as ‘fighting’ cancer. After all, these are her own cells, and she is focusing on loving her body. Please envision her in vibrant and perfect health, full of happiness. Pray for her cells to respond to treatment, to heal, to receive the nutrients and oxygen to thrive, that her body would open its detox pathways to cycle out toxicity and anything that doesn’t belong or is an obstacle to her healing, that her mind and heart would be open to receive God’s divine healing.
