Support Amarr's Family Following Tragic Garfield HS Shooting
Donation protected
On the afternoon of June 6th, the precious life of Amarr Murphy-Paine was suddenly taken in a senseless act of gun violence. A cherished son and older brother, Amarr will be forever remembered as a vibrant young 17-year-old preparing for his senior year at Garfield High School. Amarr was born and grew up in the heart of Seattle. As he grew to be a sweet young man, so did his love and passion for sports and the arts. Many knew him as a strong leader, a formidable opponent, and an aspiring musician.
As a South and Central District Seattle community, we ask you to come together to support the Murphy-Paine family as they grieve this unimaginable loss of a child and sibling. If you are able, please consider making a contribution to support funeral expenses and living/housing expenses while the Murphy-Paine family navigates this hopeless loss.
Amarr will be missed and is forever in our hearts.
Edit 6/10/24: Given immense community support, we have increased our fundraising goal. All funds will go to the family to support them in their time of loss. Thanks to everyone for your generous contributions.
