Support for Ambulance Repair of Endulen Hospital
Donation protected
Following an accident, Endulen Hospital recently lost its sole ambulance and has fallen into a distressing situation with effects permeating into the community. It has been estimated that repair costs are $3,000. Endulen Hospital is located in the Ngorongoro District in northern Tanzania and medically serves the local Maasai community. The hospital builds trust with Maasai communities, treating those coming to the hospital along with bringing particular medical services straight to communities. However, due to the loss of ambulance, Endulen Hospital cannot support the community's emergency health needs; not only is the hospital suffering, but so are the Maasai that require ambulance services. We are a group of Penn State students who had the pivotal opportunity to tour Endulen Hospital under direction of Dr. Edith in June 2023 while participating in a study abroad program. We are spearheading a donation drive for essential ambulance repairs, expressing our collective gratitude for Endulen Hospital hosting our visit, broadening our perspectives, and answering our questions. Any amount of donation is sincerely appreciated.
