Support for Annabelle's Road to Recovery
Donation protected
Zack and Christina are the kind of people that will help anyone in a time of need. Now I am setting this up for anyone who would like to help them while they navigate this difficult journey they have ahead of them.
On May 29th, Christina was driving about 20 mph slowing down to make a turn around as she and their girls were rear-ended by a truck going about 70 mph. The accident has caused serious injuries to Annabelle. She has acute fractures of the C4 and C5 vertebrae in the cervical spine, spinal cord contusion, and vertebral compression fractures in T2-T5 vertebrae. These injuries have caused bowel incontinence, nerve pain in her arms, especially if she is touched in any part of her arms or hands. Annabelle has some mobility in her right arm, very limited mobility in her left leg, left arm and can’t move her wrists or fingers well. Her right leg is working well.
On June 10th, Annabelle got moved to a rehabilitation center. They’re saying she may be here 6 weeks but it may be less or may be more, depends on how she progresses. Christina is staying with Annabelle at the rehabilitation center. Zack will have to commute back and forth 6 hours a day to be home with Alivia, and for them to be able to visit with Annabelle.
As of now, it is unsure of what the outcome, or all of Annabelle’s needs will be.
