Support for Anne Iserman

Anne is a loving wife, mom, grammy, sister, aunt, friend, and cat mom. Anne has suffered from colitis and Crohn’s disease for many years, which unfortunately has suddenly and severely worsened. On September 8, 2022 she was admitted to the hospital. Her time in the hospital has so far included 5 weeks in the ICU following a bowel perforation, numerous surgeries, blood clots, and now currently she is back in ICU following surgery and complications. Her family has been by her side the entire time. It has been terrifying as we all worry if she will make it home. She continues to fight for her health every day.

While in the hospital, the health insurance company has already started to look for their payments, apparently still being in the hospital is not something that matters to them. She is unable to work, and has been without work for 2 months. She not only has lost wages for regular bills that she always had, but also medical expenses that keep growing. She will undoubtedly need lengthy rehabilitation. In addition to Anne not being able to work, her husband Dave has been unable to work for a most of the time to be by her side and provide her the biggest support. He returned to work to have some financial income, but unfortunately he had to go back out after 3 days due to her worsening condition and additional surgery. There are not many of us that can even imagine what we would do if we suddenly lost 2 months of income with an unknown timeline for full return.
