Support for Anthony Williams' Family
Donation protected
It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing of Anthony Williams, a long-standing member of the Kontroltek family. Anthony, 46, was born in Merthyr Tydfil and had been living in Bridgend with his partner, Nikki, and daughter, Elise, before he passed away on the 13th January 2021, in the Princess of Wales Hospital.
During the week before Christmas, Anthony tested positive for COVID-19. During self-isolation, his health gradually worsened and he was admitted to hospital. NHS doctors and nurses took great care of him during his time in hospital, eventually deciding to place him in an induced coma. Unfortunately, Anthony did not recover from the virus.
Anthony was a great friend, colleague, partner and father. He was kind, loyal, funny and a unique character, always considerate of others. It's truly tragic that this happened to him.
We, Kontroltek Ltd, have created this GoFundMe page in order to support Anthony's family through this traumatic time. Colleagues, customers, friends and strangers are all welcome to donate.
For over 25 years, he had been in some of our lives one way or another — whether it was through work or friendship.
At Kontroltek, Anthony spent near a decade helping us grow the company year-on-year. He had been in contact with thousands of customers in this time, forming deep, long-term and understanding relationships with many. We’re sure there are numerous clients across the whole of Wales and England who have fond memories of working with him.
The Kontroltek workforce is heartbroken by the news, and we are sending all of our love and condolences to his family. Anthony and Nikki were planning on getting married in 2021 after having to rearrange the event last year as a result of the pandemic.
Our thanks go out to the NHS staff who took care of Anthony, and our thoughts are with all those who have been impacted by the virus.
If you can afford to, please take the time to donate. All will be passed onto Nikki, to help support her and their family in the coming months.
Some words from Andrew Follant, Kontroltek Managing Director
“Having known Anthony for over 25 years, we have shared many memories. We have laughed together, and we have cried together. At Kontroltek, he has been here for every up and down experienced, usually leading from the front.”
“I am mourning his death greatly, he was more than an employee to me. Anthony was a loyal friend who I could trust and often seek advice in. I’m forever grateful for knowing him, as I’m sure many who have crossed paths with him are too.”
“This tragic loss is only another reminder of how truly evil this virus is. I am sending my thoughts and prayers to any person who has been affected.”
“We will endeavour to support Nikki, Anthony’s partner, and their family in every possible way we can.”
