Support for Armando Balbuena’s Family in Grief

My name is Michelle and Anthony Balbuena, we are the children of Armando Balbuena who is 42 years old. He is currently receiving treatment at the Neuro Spine Intensive Care Unit at Northwestern Memorial Hospital as of July 15, 2024. His condition is very critical, my father had a stroke which caused multiple seizures that led to a bleeding on the right the side of his brain and doctors are constantly monitoring him. They are managing his brain pressure by temporarily suspending normal functions. Unfortunately my father is on a ventilator, due to his liver end stage disease and other organs have started to fail like his kidneys, he also has bowel obstruction which is causing major swelling in his abdomen. His has been battling for 2 weeks with no positive results. And we have came to the conclusion that his suffering very much and unfortunately no medication or doctor will turn around his health. It is with great sadness that we have removed my father from the ventilator to help ease with his pain.With my father in the hospital, I am left without support for his medical, funeral and burial necessities. Armando exuded love, care, compassion, and strength. The pillar of our family is gone. Help us gather the strength to push forward and support one another. I humbly request and appreciate any support during this incredibly challenging time. Your generosity would mean the world to us. It will support the medical, funeral and burial expenses. It is with a deep sadness and heavy heart, to inform you that Armando Balbuena has passed away at 3:04pm on Thursday, August 1st.

Mi nombre es Michelle y Anthony Balbuena, somos hijos de Armando Balbuena que tiene 42 años. Actualmente está recibiendo tratamiento en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos de Neuro Spine en Northwestern Memorial Hospital a partir del 15 de julio de 2024. Su condición es muy crítica, mi padre tuvo un derrame cerebral que le provocó múltiples convulsiones que le provocaron un sangrado en el lado derecho de el cerebro y los médicos lo monitorean constantemente. Están controlando su presión cerebral suspendiendo temporalmente sus funciones normales. Desafortunadamente, mi padre está conectado a un ventilador, debido a su enfermedad hepática en etapa terminal y otros órganos han comenzado a fallar como sus riñones, también tiene una obstrucción intestinal que está causando una gran hinchazón en su abdomen. Ha estado luchando durante 2 semanas sin resultados positivos. Y hemos llegado a la conclusión de que sufre mucho y lamentablemente ningún medicamento ni médico podrá mejorar su salud. Con gran tristeza hemos retirado a mi padre del ventilador para ayudarlo a aliviar su dolor. Con mi padre en el hospital, me quedo sin apoyo para sus necesidades médicas, funerarios y de entierro. Armando irradiaba amor, cuidado, compasión y fortaleza. El pilar de nuestra familia se ha ido. Ayúdanos a reunir fuerzas para seguir adelante y apoyarnos unos a otros. Humildemente solicito y agradezco cualquier apoyo durante este momento increíblemente difícil. Su generosidad significaría mucho para nosotros. Sufragará los gastos médicos, funerarios y de entierro. Gracias de antemano desde el fondo de nuestro corazón y que Dios los bendiga a todos. Las actualizaciones se compartirán en consecuencia.
