Support for Ash's Healing Journey - Hope4Ash

Donation protected
Hola! My name is Lisa, and I’m Ash’s oldest sister. We are a family from Brisbane, Australia. On behalf of my sisters and our family, we would like to thank you so much for coming to Ash's go fund me page. She is at a point in her journey towards wellness where we really need to reach out for your help.

We will start at the beginning of her journey, some of you may know this as you have been around for the past few years, and some of you are new here. In July 2019, at only 26 years old, Ash found a lump in her right breast. That lump turned out to be breast cancer. Unfortunately, Ash's breast cancer is also triple-negative, meaning that it's more aggressive and responds to fewer treatments.

Her treatment plan was 6 months of intense chemo, a double mastectomy, and another 6 months of chemo tablets. Chemo was hard work, the most challenging thing Ash has ever faced. But through it all, she held her head high, and her positivity carried not only herself but her family through.

This took us to mid-2020 - great scan results meant that Ash was in the clear. Finally, she could begin to pick herself up and live her life again, along with her partner Jaryd.

Fast forward to Friday the 25th of February 2022, when Ash's world, once again, came crashing down around her. A CT Scan revealed a 75mm tumour on her chest wall, cancer affecting 2 rib bones, spots on her lungs and lymph nodes. At only 28 years old, this news was devastating to hear. Ash asked for no talk of timelines or prognosis. Her oncologist advised of treatment options, which according to them, are limited. No chemo, as this wasn't successful last time. Surgery also isn't an option. The doctors said all they can offer her is radiation.

Now, this isn't news that Ash will accept. She is the strongest fighter we know, and she is not going to give up. Her exact words "I have too much life to live. This isn't over for me yet. I want to get married and have kids. I am only young and have a whole life to live."

So what now? Ash has decided on alternate therapies at the Hope4Cancer clinic in Mexico. A clinic that offers integrative and Alternative Cancer Therapy personalised to each patient. https://hope4cancer.com. We are all convinced that this will provide Ash with the opportunity she needs to finally kick Cancer and live the life she truly deserves.

This treatment is expensive, so we need as much help as possible to the raise funds needed. They need at least $100k. The funds will be going directly to Ash’s bank account and will cover the following:

- Treatment at Hope4Cancer Clinic in Mexico, which includes an initial 3 week stay and a follow up visit 3 months later
- Travel costs for Ash & Jaryd as they will return multiple times to Mexico
- time off work for Ash & Jaryd as they support each other during this time.

Anything over this our goal is a bonus, and will continue to support them.

We are all truly grateful for anything you can give. Please, as vital as it is to support Ash, we also ask that you share this. The more support we can get, the better chance Ash has to kick this. FUCK CANCER!!

Once again, thank-you. We are so grateful for any support you can give them during this time. Much love xx
