Support for Athelia Edwards' Family Recovery

Some of you in our LILA Family may have already hear the upsetting news about the family home of Athelia Edwards burning down this past weekend. The family, Athelia, Jon, Byron and Jax, are safe, but have lost their home, all their furnishings, and personal possessions.

As you know, Athelia is not only a fellow parent to a LILA senior, Jax, but also an amazing IB CAS Coordinator, Pamoja SBC, 12IB Teacher Advisor, Librarian, as well as taking care of Student Services. Athelia has been there for our children, encouraging and supporting them all these years in her many capacities at LILA, with that in mind I am sure that we would wish to return her kindness and hard work, and that is why I have set up this GoFundMe to help the family while trying to find temporary accommodation, and start rebuilding their lives.
