Support for Aunt Suzette (Suzette Eveland)

Donation protected
Hi everyone,

My name is Courtney, Suzette Eveland is my amazing Aunt and pretty much my bonus Mom. I am writing to ask that you help her if you can! You may or may not know that she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in August, which is extremely scary for her and our entire family. If you know her, you know that she is the one that always takes care of everyone else from family, friends, clients, and even her neighbors. It is hard for her to accept the support because she is the one that always wants to take care of others. Well, now it’s our turn to take care of her!

She is at Stage 2 which means it was caught early enough that the doctors are hopeful that chemo will shrink the tumor to the point where they can remove it. Fingers crossed everyone’s love, prayers, and support will help make a positive outcome a reality. However, it will be a long hard road for her to travel in order for this to happen. She has now gone through three chemo treatments and is having complications. Currently she has been in the hospital for over a week with a blood infection. Hopefully she will be discharged sometime this week but will have to have consistent antibiotics flow through her IV for a minimum of six weeks. This chain of events has resulted in her chemo treatments being put on hold until she is infection free. In roughly six weeks we are hopeful that the infection will be cleared up and chemo can resume. If all goes well, after her fourth chemo treatment we pray they can remove the tumor. It’s a 12-hour operation to remove the tumor and the recovery period is 8-12 weeks! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!

My Aunt Suzette has been a hairdresser for over 40 years, because of this situation and the fact that she has already missed several days of work and will miss many more months in the near future, she has not had any income since October 2nd and bills are piling up. Throughout this battle of the blood infection, chemo, and the surgery to remove the tumor it is unknown if she will be able to return to work at all which means she could have absolutely no income for an extended period of time.

Please contribute to her Go Fund Me Page for medical and living expenses if you can. Many of you have called, emailed, and contacted our family through Facebook to ask what you can do to help Aunt Suzette, this is how you can help! My entire family love's and appreciate's you all, let’s get our girl back on her feet!

Sincerely,

Courtney and the entire Eveland family.
