Hello all,
Aurora Lucas is an incredible sister, daughter, wife, and friend. She is a genuine soul that goes out of her way to make sure people feel loved and heard. She is a world traveler and dynamic educator that uses her gifts in the best way that a person can. She is naturally able to connect to and inspire everyone she comes across, from her students, to strangers, colleagues, friends, and family. She's a baddie running the world. But this baddie needs help...
2 months ago, it was discovered that Aurora has 2 masses within her lungs. After a few challenging months of pursuing and waiting for further exams, she was able to settle in with the right healthcare team. Due to crucial lost time, tests and exams had been expedited.
It brings us great grief to share that she has been diagnosed with Stage 3a lung cancer at the age of 28. She is scheduled for chemotherapy and radiation in a few weeks.
Due to her condition, Aurora is currently unable to work. Her husband, Joel, has also taken a leave in order to care for her and their new fur baby Chonky Kokoro. ❤️
It would be with great gratitude to be able to lift incoming financial costs of treatments and general bills off of their shoulders.
Every donation and prayer is deeply felt by Aurora and her loved ones. Even the simple things like: bubble tea gift cards, plants, and puppy toys/food would be treasured :)
