Support for Baby Thomas' NICU Journey

On June 3rd, 3:59 am Thomas Dean Whitehead was born 16 weeks early by a very traumatic, unexpected, emergency C-section. Being nearly 4 months early required Little Thomas to be Life Flighted from Elko NV to Salt Lake City UT to the NICU. Thomas currently weighs 1lb 10oz.

Thomas' parents, Brittany and Jeron have insurance, but not everything is covered and they are now looking at thousands of dollars in medical bills and other expenses that are accruing due to what will be a very long stay in the hospital. Thomas' parents and grand parents all live more than 300 miles from where Thomas is currently staying in the NICU, thus causing extra expenses due to travel, food and lodging. Our family has been blessed by the Ronald Mcdonald House Charity but that does not cover everything and allow for everyone to stay there when visiting and helping Thomas and his parents.

Brittany, Thomas' mother is in Salt Lake but due to having an emergency C-section, her recovery will be long and slow and she has already had to 2 additional ER visits.

Jeron recently came down with a fever and has quarantined himself in a hotel room to keep Brittany and Thomas from getting sick too.
