Support for Bernadine's Memorial Service

Hi everyone, my name is Moani. & It’s with a heavy heart that I sit and write this post. My Nama, Bernadine (Kawewehi) Halvorson has passed. She was battling some health issues but nothing that pointed towards her untimely passing. On July 28th 2024 around 11am she was having trouble breathing and when her daughter was unable to get her to respond she called the paramedics and despite their efforts to revive her, she took her last breath that day.

Anyone who knew her knew how absolutely CRAZY and funny and welcoming she was. She was definitely always a mom to her children’s friends. And a crazy grandma to all her grandchildren’s friends. She loved her family with everything she had. And despite our immediate family knowing we should be preparing for something like this down the line, nothing would have prepared us for her passing so suddenly. We know times are tough, which is why It is with a very heavy heart that my family is reaching out to you all for donations to help with the expenses towards her services and cremation. We are planning it for August 31st. In San Diego. So anything at all helps tremendously. Even just sharing this post for others to see is doing something to help our family.
