Support for Big Frank’s Family

Donation protected
Hello to anyone reading this,

My name is Hunter (or Frankie, to some) and I’m organizing this to help support my family get through what is without a doubt, the hardest time of our lives.
For those who do not know, my father, Frank, has been battling Stage IV Glioblastoma, a very aggressive form of brain cancer, for over three years now. He’s done a pretty extraordinary job of fighting this disease and was continuing to get better for quite some time until March of this year.
An MRI detected new growth and nothing seemed to be shrinking it. Then an MRI from July shows what appeared to be dead tissue caused by radiation but nobody could tell for certain if it was that or more tumor growth which called for another MRI shortly after. After this, Frank suffered from a seizure right outside of the hospital which took away his ability to walk and mobility on his right side. He has been to multiple rehab facilities to no avail and is now back at home where he is being taken care of by Cindy, my mother, and Cathy, my grandmother. His condition has gotten worse since the initial seizure and now has trouble forming coherent/audible sentences and cannot take care of himself on a basic level. Doctors have given him approximately 3-6 months left to live and so my family is doing everything they can to take care of him during his final days.
As you can imagine, this has taken an enormous toll on my family emotional, mentally, physically, and financially. I am a junior at Point Park University in Pittsburgh so I cannot be there to help my family which is why I’m asking for help. I want to do anything I can to help relieve my family and this is one of the few things I can do. I know it’s such a cliche but I mean it when I say that anything helps.
Donating would help with day-to-day expenses, maintaining our household, keeping me in school, transportation, medical bills, and potentially allowing me to see my father before Thanksgiving or Winter Break. You don’t have to personally know my family to empathize with our struggle. I am asking for support in any way that you can. Whether it be financially, through thoughts and prayers, or simply your time, me and my family are grateful for anything that can be given during this time.
