In Memory of Binod Nepal

Our beloved friend Binod Nepal was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road on his way home from school on Monday, September 23, 2019. He was immediately taken to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, for treatment. Tragically, we lost him on Thursday, September 26. Binod Nepal, aged 26, was a civil engineering graduate student at Louisiana State University. He was also serving as Public Relations Chair of Nepalese Student Association at LSU. He was an energetic and enthusiastic person, and had grown to be an important part of our Nepali community at LSU in a short time. After this tragic loss, we would like to focus on the recovery of his family and also the funeral. As fellow companions of Nepalese Student Association @LSU, we are starting this GoFundMe campaign on behalf of his family to support them.
