On Sunday night Dec 3rd, 2023, Bird went into cardiac arrest and has been in cardiac ICU since then. He initially had a heart pump to pump for his heart , cooling machine to help preserve brain function and on a ventilator breathing for him. As of 12/9/23, he is on supplemental oxygen and he did sustain heart damage from the heart attack.

This fund is intended to help cover costs associated with his recovery- long and uncertain rehabilitation needs such as deductibles, copays and no income related to not having any disability coverage.
