Support for Blake and Zane After Tragic Loss

HELP A FAMILY IN NEED

Our family is shocked and devastated by the sudden death of Mark Sutherland. Mark was the father to Blake and Zane, grandchildren of my sister Robin and brother-in-law Dale.

His legacy remains as a devoted and loving father. Blake is a 13 year old teenage boy who is totally dedicated to his sports activities. With Mark as his best cheerleader, he has excelled in hockey and baseball. Zane is a young man who has been very dependent on Mark. Both boys and their two dogs lived with Mark. Mark was the sole supporter of these boys.

This family is left with so many questions, decisions, and financial challenges. The main objective is to keep the family together, and provide the boys with consistency and some sense of normalcy. This means keeping Blake in his current school, participating in his sports activities, staying in this environment that he thrives in as a blossoming teenager. It also entails providing Zane with the support he needs to navigate his life.

Dale, Robin and their daughter Jasmine ( mother of Zane and Blake) , are struggling with the emotional loss, and at the same time trying to sift through the multiple layers of details needing to be handled.

Mark's mother, Suzanne lives in Southern California. A heart wrenching loss, she is also trying to figure out the future for this family.

Aside from the rent, which was due November 1, and funeral expenses, there are immediate financial needs to insure that the boys can maintain a stable living environment during this transitional time. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
