Support for Bobby Gonzalez and Maria Aponte

Hi there - we are Theresa and Pat, setting up this GoFundMe to help Bobby and Maria. Bobby was recently diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's Disease and is currently receiving hospice care at home.

This has been a major shock and life changing setback for both Bobby and Maria, as well as for the Latino/a community that both Bobby and Maria have poured their hearts and souls into.

Bobby is a poet, storyteller, puppeteer and educator of the Taino heritage. Maria's work includes being a writer/actor/singer/educator and supporter of Latina elders through Latina 50 plus organization.

The community has poured love and support in many different ways. Here we are asking for that support to be manifested through donations to help support and relieve the stress that they are both going through right now. All the funds raised will go directly to Bobby and Maria.
