Support for Bobi-lyn's Family

Hi, My name is Leanne and I am fundraising to help a family very close to my heart. On March 6, 2023 the Reid/Boldt/Radke world came to a halt. Bobi-lyn Radke (Reid) was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer. Bobi was a non-smoker!! Doctors discovered the cancer had already spread to her lymph nodes, adrenal glands and liver, she also had a collapsed lung and blood clots. In Bobi fashion, she stayed as positive as she could with this horrible diagnosis. Days later, Bobi was sent home from the ICU with no help and no medical plan in place. With her declining health, a few days later Bobi ended up back in emergency. Bobi was then admitted to palliative care where a team of doctors suggested a treatment plan of targeted radiation with a posibility of chemotherapy. After 5 sessions of radiation they realized the cancer had progressed so much that chemotherapy was no longer an option. Bobi had 2 new tumours in her left eye, soon after she completely lost sight in that eye. After a brave battle, on May 21st Bobi was moved to hospice and sadly, June 6th Bobi passed peacefully with her family by her side.

Bobi was a single mother to her son Pierce, who was the light of her life. He is following his dreams playing baseball at Yavapia College in Arizona. Watching Pierce play ball and follow his dreams made Bobi so happy, she was his biggest supporter and was very proud of him. Bobi always put everyone first, even while battling cancer she was always checking in to see how her family was doing. She loved her family more than anything. Faith and spirituality helped her tremendously, her light and positivity for life will shine bright through her son. Bobi's kindness helped so many people in her life. The world is a better place because she was in it.

I am setting up a GoFund me page to help her family with bills that were incurred while she was battling cancer and my hope is to help set her son up for the best chance at a successful future.

Bobi, your family loved you so much. You will be missed by eveyone who knew you.
