Support for Br. Yusuf's family and seven kids

Br. Yusuf was a well known brother to the Muslim community in the Raleigh-Durham area. Some even referring to him as “hamamat al-masjid” the pigeon of the masjid as he would frequent the masjid for all prayers. He was a father of 7 children for whom he was the sole provider. After praying Isha, Br. Yusuf left for work but unfortunately was killed by a speeding vehicle in downtown Raleigh.

Sr. Zahra, Br. Yusuf's wife, is now a single parent to their 7 children all of whom are minors. She now is obliged to manage everything on her own while grieving and coping with the emotional and financial impact this great loss has had for the family.
