Support for Brian Phillips' Memorial Costs
Donation protected
Hello everyone, my family and I are raising money for the sudden passing of my father, Brian Phillips. Friday, July 12th he went in for open heart surgery involving a heart bypass, complications following the surgery resulted in him being transferred to the Frankel Cardiovascular Center in Ann Arbor to be placed on ECMO which takes over the function of the heart and lungs, where he was eventually pronounced brain dead. Thankfully, he was able to donate both of his kidneys to some individuals in need through the Gift of Life donor program.
He was a man of few words but many laughs. He loved music of all kinds, though mainly metal such as Pantera, and Slipknot to the dismay of anyone in the house trying to sleep while he cleaned on a Sunday morning. Playing guitar was always a great passion of his, whether it was for the local church or just at home with family. He instilled that love in those around him and taught his children to never be ashamed of who they are. His wise words and banter will be remembered by those close to him, and his laugh heard forever in their minds. Brian is missed dearly already and will continue to be loved and cherished by those who knew him.
Your donations will go towards the sudden expenses of cremation, Celebration of Life, travel for family, and any other unforeseen costs involved with the tragic loss of a loved one. Thank you so much for taking the time of day to read this and consider donation, please feel free to spread the word, and share this page with any who may be interested.
