Urgent Support for Brian's Liver Transplant

Hi everyone! I’m organizing this fundraiser to help my in-laws, Brian and Amanda, as they anxiously await a liver to become available for Brian’s liver transplant.

After multiple hospital visits, and now currently admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in Oklahoma City, Brian is finally accepted on the transplant list. However, this does result in a waiting game. It could be hours, days, or even months before a liver comes in that will be a match to his A+ blood type. We pray and remain hopeful that he should be getting a transplant within the next few weeks or months. But right now the waiting is the hardest part. He is very frail, his health is severely compromised, and he cannot do a lot of things without assistance.

Getting on the list is like winning the lottery, but their current medical and financial situation feels insurmountable.

If you know Brian and Amanda, they are never ones to ask for help but are always the first to give it or lend a hand. These guys could use all the help we can give them! Bills continue to roll in and without them being able to work and with them having to stay in Oklahoma City, finances are draining fast as you can imagine.

I would love it if we could come together to rally around Brian and Amanda during this time in their lives that can feel impossible on so many levels. They have a lot to look forward to after this second chance at life. Brian loves being outdoors and at the lake with his close family and friends. He is a “Pops” to his grandkids and we are looking forward to creating a lot of amazing memories ahead.

This fundraiser will hopefully lighten some of these financial burdens so that they both can concentrate on healing medically and financially.

I’m starting the fundraiser goal at $20,000* which seems like a lot, but it is only a small portion of his actual bills.

Please help spread the word for Brian and Amanda. I know not everyone is in a position to donate financially. But hopefully what everyone can do is share this fundraiser and continue to pray. God Bless!
