Support for Cam Prest and Family

Hi, my name is Karen and I'm raising funds for my cousin's 19 year old son, Cameron. On Friday, June 11, Cam and some friends were biking at the bike park in Williams Lake, BC. It was dark and he misjudged one of the jumps and landed square on his head at the base of a jump. He burst 2 vertebrae in his thoracic spine and was airlifted to Vancouver General Hospital. Surgery was performed and they installed 4 pins and 2 plates to replace the vertebrae and removed some bone and a blood clot. He has no feeling from the chest down at this point and the doctors say there's a good chance he may not walk again. But they also say they have seen miracles. Cam will be at VGH for about 3 weeks and then will be at GF Strong for 3 or so months. His parents, Erin and Keith, are now trying to juggle their three other children, a dog, and 2 jobs with travelling back and forth to Vancouver to support Cameron. There's a lot that is unknown at this point, but one thing for sure is that there will be significant cost to the family in the coming months. I am asking for support for that but if you cannot give financially, we certainly appreciate all the prayers, healing vibes, positive thoughts and love that you can send.
