Support for Candace's and Michael's Father's Final Journey

Hi there my name is Candace and my brothers name is Michael. Our father, John Pippin has been in the hospital and rehab and is now in a long-term care facility and we are going on 8 weeks. My brother originally found him passed out in the floor 8 weeks ago and then he was taken to the hospital where he had Rhabdomyolysis and severe dehydration. He went from there to a rehab facility and unfortunately, he fell and broke his leg the following day. He was then taken back to the hospital where he had surgery for his hip and then he was taken back to the rehab facility. Medicare only paid for 20 days of rehab and in that time he was not able to get better. We had to make the decision to put him in a long-term care facility because we were unable to take care of him ourselves. I made the decision to put him on hospice when he was hurting so bad that he was crying so that they were able to control his pain better. We were told last night that our dad only has one to three weeks left here on Earth with us and we are trying to plan for his funeral. My dad did not ask for much he only wants to be cremated so we are trying to raise enough money to cover those expenses.
