Hello, my name is Mandi. I am starting this GoFundMe for the family of Carol Pitzer. Carol was in a fatal accident involving an ambulance outside of her apartment building Monday afternoon.

Lets talk about the good of Carol. Carol was the mother of 4 children, step mother of 4 stepdaughters. Grandmother of 8 grandkids, a sister, aunt and a Friend to all. Carol grew up, raised her children and still a resident of Elyria.

Carol and her family would join my family for every holiday. Carol would always made the gravy. Her gravy was so good, to a point I needed to learn how to make it. So she taught me how to make it. Now thanks to her, I have to make the gravy for holidays because she taught me well.

Now lets talk about what happened.

Carol was riding in a motorized scooter to go visit a friend outside of the apartment building. The ambulance was picking up another resident and was leaving the parking lot when Carol fell over on her scooter, the ambulance ran her over. None of the ambulance workers knew Carol was ran over by the ambulance they were in. Another resident had to run out to stop them to let them know what happened.

The devastating loss has affected everyone even the ones who lives in the apartment complex.

Police are still investigating the incident.
