Support for Cassandra's Unexpected Family Growth

Hi my name is Cassandra Mckenzie, on the morning of April 18th 2024 I received a call from CPS asking me and my husband if we would take in our three nephews, who are now wards of the state. (I'm not going into detail about the why and who they are out of respect for the children.)That being said we said yes. We are not prepared for this at all. We have 3 children of our own all under the age of 7. Now Adding 3 more all under the age of 8, one of them is wheelchair bound with a lot of medical problems that needs constant monitoring and taking care of. We are now in need of a lot of things for these boys as they came with nothing but the clothes on their backs. We won't be able to receive any kind of aide or help from the state until June. This is going to make things very hard on all of us now financially. I will need beds, mattresses, clothes, shoes, food, gas for appointments (since now we have to take two vehicles everywhere we go), toiletries, blankets, diapers, dressers and whatever else they might need to make them comfortable..This has been such a shock for everyone in our family and if you can donate anything we would be extremely grateful.
