Support for Cassidy and her daughters

On December 30th, my daughter Cassidy’s boyfriend Moe collapsed while taking out the trash and was found unresponsive and not breathing. He was taken to the hospital, put on life support, and was pronounced brain dead 2 days later. Devastatingly, he passed away on January 9th. Cassidy and Moe have a 1 year old daughter and Cassidy is almost 7 months pregnant with their second child. While I was able to fly from Pennsylvania to Colorado to be with my daughter when this tragedy occurred and have been able to remain by her side the past 3 weeks, I will soon need to return home to get back to work. Cassidy and Moe have no family or friends in Colorado where they were living. Cassidy will need overwhelming support from family, friends, and community in the days to come to carry her through this difficult time and to also help her welcome her new baby girl in March. As you can imagine, as a result of this unexpected tragedy, life changes will need to be made for her and her daughters, and her financial state has been greatly affected. She is not in the emotional or mental state to return to work yet, so I want to make sure to allow her with enough time as she needs to properly grieve the loss of the love of her life and not be worrying about finances. I would also like her to be able to make necessary life changes for her family going forward.
