Support for Ceilidh (Katie) Dill

On November 22nd our dear friend Ceilidh (Katie) was in a tragic car accident while traveling between clients working for VON. She was traveling on the 311 in North River when a truck traveling in the opposite direction hit black ice and spun sideways into her lane. Katie was taken to the Truro hospital and then life flighted to the QE2 in Halifax where it was determined that she suffered 2 broken legs, a broken hand, a fractured foot and sternum, and multiple broken ribs. She is heading in for surgery on November 23rd (will update after surgery). She has a long, arduous road ahead of her.
Katie spends her days going to clients homes taking care of their personal health needs and she is a blessing to each and every one of them. She loves her job as a nurse and like most nurses, will struggle being on the receiving end of care. Being the friend she is to others, her friends and family are ready to step in and make sure she is taken care of. With her car written off and various accomodations needed to be made at her home during her recovery, we want to help ease some of the financial burdens she will face moving forward.
Katie is not the type of person who would ask for help. She is one of the most caring, kind people you will meet but she is fiercely independent and carries a level of grit that we know will see her through this. If there is anything you can give to help, it will all go directly to Katie in an effort to help her focus solely on recovery.
Thank you in advance for any amount you are able to give.
