Support for Celia Sanchez

Hello! We’re raising funds because one of our most beloved Hatch teachers, Celia Sanchez, is going through a difficult time, and we would like to help provide her with some stability and support. As some may be aware, Celia must leave the United States until a new work visa can be obtained for her by the school district. This process could take up to a year, and the personal and financial implications for her are significant. She has no choice, leaving is something that she must do in order to continue her immigration process, and her plan is to be back at Hatch for the 2024-2025 school year.

Celia began her time at Hatch as an amity from Colombia and then returned to teach full time for the last 6 years. She is a wonderful teacher and valued member of our tightknit Coastside community, and many people have expressed a desire to help. This is a great way to help Celia, and any amount you are able to contribute is greatly appreciated!

Estamos recaudando fondos porque una de nuestras maestras de Hatch más queridas, Celia Sánchez, está pasando por un momento difícil y nos gustaría ayudarla a brindarle algo de estabilidad y apoyo. Como algunos sabrán, Celia debe abandonar los Estados Unidos hasta que el distrito escolar pueda obtener una nueva visa de trabajo para ella. Este proceso podría demorar hasta un año, y las implicaciones personales y financieras para ella son significativas. No tiene opción, irse es algo que debe hacer para continuar con su proceso de inmigración, y su plan es regresar a Hatch para el año escolar 2024-2025.

Celia comenzó su tiempo en Hatch como amity de Colombia y luego regresó para enseñar a tiempo completo durante los últimos 6 años. Ella es una maestra maravillosa y un miembro valioso de nuestra comunidad unida de Costa, y muchas personas han expresado su deseo de ayudar. ¡Esta es una gran manera de ayudar a Celia, y cualquier cantidad que puedas contribuir es muy apreciada!
