Support For Chantell and Matthew Blain

Hi Everyone,

So as some of you know my sister Chantell Blain was recently hospitalized in Fort Nelson after having issues with discoloration and lower back pain as well as extreme fatigue.

After a few days in Fort Nelson General Hospital and after what testing they could do here she got flown to The Fort St John Hospital to get further testing they could not accomplish in town, CT scan etc, to try and figure out the source of her health issue.

The CT scan Revealed a growth on her pancreas that is going to need be removed with surgery, before the surgery is preformed they are going to place a stint in to drain excess fluid, the stint is temporary to relieve fluid retention until surgery can be preformed.

They are traveling to P.G tomorrow to get the stint in to drain excess fluid before her set surgery date, they will need to travel back and forth over the coming months so that Chan can receive the treatment she needs, which also means that they will be needling to take time off of work to focus on healing.

After the stint does its work they will be headed back to get the Whipple procedure performed on her pancreas,which includes removing part of the lower lower intestine, gall bladder and bile duct.

Just want them to know they have got the support and prayers of our entire amazing community, anything helps and is super appreciated.

All funds will be directly sent to Chantell and Matt so that they can just focus on the task at hand and not have the burden of worrying about money.
