Support for Charles L. Davis's Memorial and Cremation

Good evening all,

My name is Brooklynn Niccoli and my family and I just recently lost my dad last Monday September 30, 2024 to a long battle with colon cancer. A little back story about my father Charles L. Davis is back in November of 2018 he was given the unexpected new and diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer and had many treatments to help reduce the mass in his colon. In January of 2019 he had surgery to remove the cancer, but it was worse than the doctors anticipated, so he ended up with a permanent colostomy bag. In 2021 he was diagnosed with stage 4 spinal cancer and was battling it continuously sine then. He had back surgery to remove the mass on his spine which resulted in rods and pins throughout his whole spine. In late August, he got an abscessed when they did surgery at the end of August they realized it cancerous and from there it was all down hill after that. By 2024 he had cancer in the spine, lungs, kidney, mouth, and brain. At that point my dad could no longer do the treatment as he was hospitalized end of August beginning of September then he was put into a nursing home as he needed round the clock care. I took the trip to Ohio on September 26, 2024 and arrived on the 27th and spent two days with him and soaked in the last 48 hours I had with my father. On September 30, 2024 he passed away at 10:15am peacefully and no longer in pain. The cremation is going to cost 1500 and his wishes was to be planted as a living urn tree which is another 250. This has come at a hard time as he didn't have life insurance and any other expenses I may need to cover as myself and a family friend who resides in Ohio and I am in Colorado are the only ones taking care of this as my brother has left it all on me for the past year and a half.
