Support for Cheryl Lynn Martinez McAnally's Funeral

My mother was born on 12-25-1957 and she passed away unexpectedly. She lived in Grant County, New Mexico. She has one daughter and three sons. I am the youngest son. My name is Loghan Paul Smolik Sr. My mother gave me my middle name, Paul, after my uncle and grandfather. I am a US Army Combat Veteran.

During these unfortunate times, immediate family such as myself and siblings are faced with financial challenges and expenses that are part of the unfortunate process. I started this to help my family with the expenses that are needed to move forward with a plan for my mother’s funeral costs and expenses that I cannot afford. In the future, my mother’s remains will be put to rest where she has asked to be put to rest. It’s possible for my family to be there for services but still face the financial difficulties and challenges.

I’m a Disabled Veteran. My wife and I have four children. I am able to travel 1300 miles to meet with my siblings to help. However, I don’t have the amount needed to cover the expenses for funeral and cremation. Since I was identified as the next of kin, I have a responsibility to recover my mother’s remains and safeguard them. During this process, I will be an advocate for my brothers and sisters who are faced with this unfortunate circumstance. Whether I can help other people in this similar circumstance or in the future use some donations to provide financial assistance when someone else is in need, I will pay it forward.
