Support for the children of Stacy Faigus Snyder
I am establishing this fund for my sister Stacy Faigus Snyder’s children, Adam and Kaitlin. My sister unexpectedly passed away on Friday, August 14, 2021, at the age of 50, from COVID- related illness. She leaves behind two amazing kids, and the funds raised here will go toward supporting their future endeavors. Both Kaitlin and Adam attended elementary school at Liberty Elementary in the Paradise Valley Unified School District.
Kaitlin attends high school in the Tempe Union High School District. She is active in dance and ceramics at school. Stacy loved watching Kaitlin do competitive cheer. Kaitlin’s favorite thing about her mom was “how she was there for her kids and family. She always had a big heart and a big smile.“
Adam is a musical theater student at Chandler-Gilbert Community College. He is fully immersed in the theater world and performs as often as he can. His favorite thing about his mom was “her ability to turn any situation into something positive and fun. . . .she always knew how to light up a room!”
Stacy grew up in Scottsdale and attended Cherokee Elementary and Chaparral High School. She earned an associate’s degree from Grossmont College in California. One of her great passions in life was attending and later working as a counselor at Camp LeBeau and Camp Pearlstein. More recently, she drove for Uber and enjoyed quality time with her children, friends and beloved rescue dog, Nala. She truly had a heart of gold, and there was nothing she wouldn’t do for someone. She will be forever loved and missed. All contributions will be placed in a fund on behalf of the children and will be managed by Stacy’s sister, Tami Taylor.
